Submission to the UN Human Rights Committee Regarding Turkey's Non-Compliance with ECtHR Decisions

We have submitted a comprehensive report to the United Nations Human Rights Committee, as part of the 142nd session, concerning Turkey's ongoing non-compliance with the rulings of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). This submission underscores Turkey’s failure to implement critical ECtHR decisions, particularly in cases related to human rights abuses, the arbitrary detention of political opponents, journalists, and violations of freedom of expression.

Our report calls for stronger international oversight and urges Turkey to fulfill its obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights, promoting justice, and upholding the rule of law. This session marks an essential step towards addressing these systematic violations on the global stage.
